As tourist season is very short in Mongolia, the most flights are fully booked in June-August, so we advise you book the tickets well in advance.

Chinggis Khaan Airport

You will be welcomed at the Chinggis Khaan Airport in Ulaanbaatar. A new airport has been constructed in 52km southwest of Ulaanbaatar, and it is expected to be launched in 2021.

Located at 18 km from the center of the city, the airport host and sees off flights to Altai, Moscow, Beijing, Bayankhongor, Paris, Choibalsan, Jeju, Dalanzadgad, Berlin, Hohhot, Hong Kong, Irkutsk, Seoul, Jakarta, Khovd, Tokyo, Ölgii, Bangkok, Ovoot, Dubai, Oyu Tolgoi, Hanoi, Sanya, Ulaangom, Frankfurt, Istanbul and Uliastai.
