Making a Torma

During this session, you will be given a full instruction and practical demonstrations on how to make a 'torma'' by an artist monk of the monastery, no experience is necessary.

A ‘torma’ is a special offering of cake made in order to obtain spiritual realisation. These traditional offerings are offered to the Buddhas, representing an offering of great bliss. Tormas can range from very simple to exquisitely beautiful.  

You can either take the torma with you or offer it to the Buddhas at the monastery. Your offering will be kept at the monastery for a year.
